Co-Founder & President
Throughout his twenty-five year real estate career, Rami has acquired, re-zoned, developed, financed, and sold industrial, commercial, and residential properties throughout the United States
Rami started his business career as co-founder of Home Dynamix, a home textile manufacturer and wholesaler with more than 500 employees worldwide, where he served as CEO until selling the company in 2018
Paul Kaufman
Co-Founder & General Counsel
Paul is the senior partner in the law firm of Kaufman, Semeraro & Leibman, LLP, with offices in Fort Lee & Parsippany, New Jersey and New York City and has been practicing law for over 40 years. Paul’s practice has concentrated on commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, financing (including the representation of institutional and non-institutional lenders as well as borrowers), construction with a particular emphasis on development, redevelopment and zoning/land use/entitlements
As a participant in development projects himself, Paul has a unique perspective and understanding of the needs of borrowers and developers, which enables Galaxy Financing to provide loans that address those needs
Michael Evar
Director of Credit
Michael is responsible for underwriting all new opportunities at Galaxy Financing. Outside of Galaxy Financing, Michael currently helps to manage a family office’s portfolio of real estate assets spanning the industrial and multi-family asset classes
Michael started his business career in management consulting and private equity where he developed his financial modeling and underwriting skills across all industries — real estate and operating companies alike
Scott Placona
Director of Business Development
Scott has been involved in the construction of residential and multi-family projects for the past six years
Prior to his time with Galaxy Financing, Scott oversaw the Operations and Sales for Equinox Fitness Clubs in New York City. Before starting his career on the operational side of the business, Scott worked at boutique Investment Firm as an Associate working to raise capital to bring companies public, secondary offerings, and bridge loans
